Job description

Presentation:

The Béthel Home Foundation is a living place hosting 65 residents over 65 years old whose physical or mental health requires support 7 days a week and 24 hours a day until the end of their life.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Accompany and support residents in all daily life activities and during collective events.
  • Prepare and organise suitable and rewarding activities for residents in collaboration with various departments.
  • Promote residents- autonomy and maintenance of their personal activities (habits, hobbies, etc.).
  • Coordinate and organise socio-cultural activities.
  • Accompany residents for meals, outings and appointments.
  • Involve families in events as far as possible.
  • Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of the resident-s file.
  • Perform assistance, basic care and housekeeping tasks, all related to maintaining the social life of residents.
  • Work with respect for the resident, aiming at their well-being.
  • Participate in the development of procedures and organisation to improve services and resident satisfaction.

Profile sought

  • ASE Federal Certificate of Competence or equivalent training
  • 5 years- experience in EMS - mandatory
  • Knowledge of palliative care - mandatory
  • Sense of responsibility
  • High autonomy
  • Communication skills
  • Adaptability
  • Cooperation and strong team spirit
  • Interest in interdisciplinary work
  • Knowledge of DIR (Sadies) IT tool - mandatory
  • Fluency in French
