Unsere umfassend ausgestattete Mechanische Werkstatt bietet technische Dienstleistungen für die Institute der Universität Bern an

* Entwurf und Konstruktion von experimentellen technischen Geräten, Prototypen und Ersatzteilen gemäss den Bedürfnissen von Forschenden, Lehrenden und Studierenden vom ersten Entwurf bis zum fertigen Produkt * Technischer Support * Reparatur von technischen Geräten

**Ihre Hauptaufgaben**

* Leitung der Mechanischen Werkstatt * Führung der Werkstattmitarbeiter/innen (2-3 Mitarbeitende), Hauptverantwortlich für die Ausbildung Polymechaniker/innen (1-2 Lernende) * Planung, Konstruktion und Herstellung von Spezialapparaturen mittels CAD * Projektverantwortung, Arbeitsplanung und termingerechte Fertigung * Unterstützung der Arbeitsgruppen sowie der umliegenden universitären Institute bei mechanischen Problemen * Evaluation von neuen Maschinen und Geräten, Beschaffung von Werkzeugen und Betriebsmitteln, Erstellen von Offerten und Rechnungen, Einkauf projektspezifischen Materials und Bewirtschaftung des betriebseigenen Materiallagers.

**Ihr Profil**

* Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung und mehrere Jahre Berufserfahrung als Mechaniker/in, Polymechaniker/in oder Werkzeugmacher/in * Weiterbildung HFP oder HF * Berufsbildner * Sie arbeiten lösungsorientiert und schätzen Herausforderungen * Erweiterte Materialkenntnisse (Kunststoffe, Edelmetalle, Sonderwerkstoffe) * Kenntnisse in der CNC-Bearbeitung Voraussetzung * Kenntnisse in Elektronik, Vakuumtechnik und Schweissen (TIG) von Vorteil * Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
