WIR ARBEITEN AN GRUNDLAGEN FÜR DIE BILDUNG VON MORGEN. Politisch Verantwortliche brauchen einen regelmässigen Überblick über den Stand und die Entwicklung des Bildungswesens. Die Bildungsplanung sammelt statistische Kennzahlen und führt vertiefende Analysen durch, um fundiertes Wissen über das kantonale Bildungssystem und sein Umfeld bereitzustellen. Zur Verstärkung der Abteilung Bildungsmonitoring suchen wir per 1. Januar 2027 oder nach Vereinbarung eine/n wissenschaftliche/n Mitarbeiter/in 60% - 80%.

Ihre Aufgabengebiete ###

Sie planen und realisieren gemeinsam mit anderen Teammitgliedern Datenanalysen im Bildungsbereich. Dazu recherchieren Sie, bereiten Daten auf und vermitteln die Ergebnisse in Publikationen und weiteren Formaten verständlich und zielgruppengerecht. In Analyseprojekten übernehmen Sie konzeptionelle, planerische und organisatorische Verantwortung. Die Ergebnisse diskutieren Sie mit Entscheidungsträgerinnen und Entscheidungsträgern aus Politik und Verwaltung. Je nach fachlichem Schwerpunkt arbeiten Sie an der Zürcher Lernverlaufserhebung LEAPS mit und koordinieren Anfragen zu Forschungsprojekten im Schulfeld. Alternativ liegt Ihr Schwerpunkt auf der Erstellung von Prognosen im Bildungsbereich und der Weiterentwicklung unserer Analyseinfrastruktur, insbesondere von R-Packages.

Ihr Profil ###

Wir suchen eine engagierte Person mit einem abgeschlossenen Hochschulstudium (Master) in einem sozialwissenschaftlichen Fachbereich oder in Data Science. Idealerweise bringen Sie Folgendes mit:

  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse des Schweizer Bildungswesens
  • Sehr gute Fähigkeiten in Datenmanagement, Datenanalyse und -visualisierung mit einer Programmiersprache wie R oder Python
  • Erfahrung in empirischer Sozialforschung im Bildungskontext
  • Sie können wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse für Bildungsverwaltung, Schulen und Politik verständlich aufbereiten und vermitteln
  • Schnelle Auffassungsgabe und Fähigkeit zur eigenständigen Problemlösung
  • Selbstständige und zielgerichtete Arbeitsweise
  • Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Freude an der Zusammenarbeit im Team
