The posting

Als service monteur transportbanden buitendienst ben jij de spil in het onderhoud en herstel van industriële transportbanden bij onze klanten. Je vertrekt vanuit Genk en gaat op pad naar bedrijven in de regio om transportbanden te leggen, te lassen of te vulkaniseren, en om herstellingen uit te voeren aan trommels, schrapers en andere band gerelateerde systemen. Je takenpakket is breed en technisch uitdagend, ideaal voor wie graag actief bezig is en verschillende sectoren wil ontdekken.

Op een doorsnee werkdag vertrek je ’s ochtends samen met je team naar de klant. Je monteert of demonteert rubberen of kunststof transportbanden, voert inspecties uit en zorgt voor het naadloos lassen of vulkaniseren van de banden. Soms werk je op hoogte, bijvoorbeeld vanop een stelling, schaarlift of hoogtewerker. Je werkt nauw samen met collega’s, steunt op elkaars technische kennis en krijgt ruimte om bij te leren en door te groeien.

  • Je werkt graag met je handen en bent actief bezig
  • Je beschikt over een VCA-attest of bent bereid dit snel te behalen
  • Je bent niet bang van werken op hoogte (stelling, schaarlift, hoogtewerker)
  • Je hebt technisch inzicht en ervaring met gereedschap (slijpschijf, boormachine)
  • Je bent een teamplayer, sociaal en betrouwbaar
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B
  • Je spreekt goed Nederlands (voor veiligheid en opleidingen)
  • Je hebt minimaal lager secundair onderwijs
  • Ervaring is een pluspunt, maar ook starters zijn welkom
