Лесовод 4 разряда обязан: Оказывать помощь мастеру леса в проведении лесохозяйственных и лесокультурных работ. Принимать участие в тушении и ликвидации лесных пожаров. Участвовать в работе по отводу, таксации и иных работ по указанию непосредственного руководителя. Производить содействие естественного возобновления леса. Производить уход за молодняками лесохозяйственных культур вручную и механизированными инструментами. Подготавливать ямы для почвенных и лесопатологических обследований. Проводить комплекс работ по отводу лесосек и производству лесоустроительных работ, в том числе моторизованным инструментом. Закладывать пробные площади, вести пересчет деревьев. Прорубать, прочищать квартальные лесосеки и граничные линии. Изготавливать и ставить квартальные, визирные и деляночные столбы. Рубить модельные деревья. Проводить минерализацию почвы при проведении предупредительных противопожарных работ. Тушить лесные пожары при помощи мотопомп, тракторных, конных и ручных опрыскивателей. Чистить места рубок леса, заготовки хвойной лапки, сортировать, чистить и упаковывать в пачки. Заготавливать и изготавливать метла, веники, кору, дрова топорника, черни, мотыги. Подготавливать моторизованные орудия, инструменты, приспособления, необходимые для выполнения работ, текущего ремонта и уход за ними в течение рабочей смены. Проводить мониторинг пожарной опасности в лесах и лесных пожаров. Знать способы тушения лесных пожаров, с использованием закрепленных за бригадой пожарной техники, средств тушения, машин и механизмов и уметь практически пользоваться ими; По сигналу пожарной тревоги заполнять номера лесопожарного расчета, выезжать к месту возникновения лесного пожара и выполнять распоряжения бригадира или руководителя тушения; Следить за исправным состоянием закрепленного за ними пожарного оборудования, аппаратуры, инструмента и снаряжения, уметь использовать его на работах по тушению лесных пожаров; По распоряжению бригадира или начальника ПХС производить работы по мелкому ремонту и подготовке пожарной техники, приготовлению растворов огнетушащих химикатов, мойке и сушке пожарных рукавов и выполнять другие производственные работы противопожарного назначения. Беспрекословно выполнять утвержденный распорядок работы в зависимости от класса пожарной опасности и во время тушения пожаров; При тушении лесных пожаров не оставлять своего места без разрешения руководителя работ по тушению, за исключением случаев получения травм, ожогов, ранений или отравлений дымом, а также случаев, создающих угрозу для жизни работника (окружение огнем), предупредив об этом руководителя и направиться к месту расположения табора или штаба по тушению пожара;
