Осуществляет сбор, изучение, обобщение статистических данных, анализ состояния рынка труда муниципального образования город Норильск. Анализирует и прогнозирует спрос и предложения на рабочую силу, структуру регистрируемой безработицы. Осуществляет сбор сведений от работодателей территории о предстоящем высвобождении работников, ведет базу высвобождаемых работников в ПК Катарсис . Взаимодействует с работодателями, органами местного самоуправления, профсоюзами по вопросам проведения массового высвобождения работников, разработки мероприятий по содействию занятости в условиях массового высвобождения. Осуществляет контроль полноты и правильности предоставления работодателями всех форм собственности документации, предусмотренной законодательством о занятости населения, по утвержденным формам. Осуществляет контроль исполнения показателей, характеризующих состав, качество и объем оказываемых государственных услуг (государственное задание), установленных для Центра занятости. Составляет и представляет в соответствующие организации установленную государственную статистическую и ведомственную отчетность по утвержденным формам, а также аналитические материалы по направлениям деятельности Центра занятости, о реализации программ содействия занятости населения. Подготавливает и представляет аналитические и другие материалы по вопросам, входящих в компетенцию Отдела, по запросам вышестоящих и иных организаций. Подготавливает и оформляет информационные аналитические и обзорные материалы о положении на рынке труда, потребности в работниках, программах, реализуемых Центром занятости, для размещения в СМИ, информационных бюллетенях и буклетах. Участвует в проведении социологических и иных исследований. Осваивает новые компьютерные программы и технологии работы Центра занятости, внедрение которых вызвано производственной необходимостью. Выполняет отдельные поручения директора Центра занятости, его заместителей, начальника Отдела. По поручению начальника Отдела привлекается к работе по другим направлениям деятельности Отдела. По поручению руководства участвует в других работах и мероприятиях, проводимых Центром занятости.
