Осуществлять демонтаж и разборку горного оборудования, технологического оборудования, агрегатов, машин, механизмов, узлов; перемещение узлов, машин, деталей в ремонтную зону (цех, участок, стенд) участка. Проводить определение межоперационных припусков и допусков на обработку поверхности горного оборудования. Проводить правку элементов, выравнивание поверхностей горного оборудования. Осуществлять зачистку коррозионных очагов горного оборудования, технологического оборудования и агрегатов. Осуществлять сборку и монтаж несущих металлоконструкций зданий и сооружений, узлов и деталей механических частей приводов, технологического оборудования и агрегатов. Осуществлять сборку и монтаж оборудования, агрегатов по завершении ремонта узлов, деталей, конструктивных элементов горного оборудования.

На работу слесарем по обслуживанию и ремонту оборудования 5 разряда допускаются лица, не моложе 18 лет, имеющие среднее общее образование и профессиональное обучение - программы профессиональной подготовки по профессиям рабочих, служащих, программы переподготовки рабочих, служащих, программы повышения квалификации рабочих. Опыт работы не менее шести месяцев по профессии с более низким (предыдущим) разрядом.
