Должностная инструкция водителя самосвала: соблюдать правила дорожного движения; проходить ежедневный предрейсовый медицинский осмотр; проверять техническое состояние транспортного средства перед выездом, в пути и по возвращению на место стоянки; устранять мелкие неисправности в процессе эксплуатации транспортного средства, не требующие разборки узлов и агрегатов; производить постановку самосвала под погрузку-выгрузку; транспортировать грузы согласно путевым листам и производственным заданиям; управлять механизмами и устройствами самосвала; заправлять самосвал топливом, смазочными материалами и охлаждающей жидкостью; выполнять обслуживание и содержание самосвала, его оборудования в исправном состоянии; участвовать в предупредительном ремонте самосвала; контролировать безопасное размещение и крепление различных грузов; своевременно проходить периодическое техническое обслуживание в сервисном центре и технический осмотр; содержать двигатель, кузов и салон автомобиля в чистоте и порядке; ежедневно вести путевые листы, отмечать маршруты следования, пройденный километраж, расход топлива.

Знания в области устройства и эксплуатации самосвальной техники. Базовые технические знания включают понимание работы дизельных двигателей, гидравлических систем и электрооборудования машин. Знание правил безопасности при работе в карьерах и на строительных площадках. Умение читать технологические карты, разбираться в сигналах регулировщиков и правильно оценивать дорожные условия. При работе на опасных производственных объектах требуется наличие удостоверения о прохождении обучения по промышленной безопасности. Этот документ необходимо регулярно подтверждать, проходя периодическую проверку знаний. Требуется медицинская справка установленного образца, подтверждающая отсутствие противопоказаний к работе на карьерной технике.
