Экономист планово-экономического отдела занимается планово-экономическим обеспечением строительного производства планированием и учётом распределения трудовых, материально-технических и финансовых ресурсов при производстве строительных работ. Планирование потребности в ресурсах . Например, планирование финансирования выполнения работ в соответствии с заключёнными и ожидаемыми договорами, подготовка плановых удельных показателей потребности в ресурсах. Контроль расходования ресурсов . Подготовка и проверка экономических статей договоров подряда на строительство, на выполнение отдельных видов и комплексов строительных работ, контроль закупочных цен на материально-технические ресурсы. Анализ фактического выполнения плановых показателей . Актуализация и оценка фактического выполнения плановых показателей строительно-монтажных работ, сопоставительный анализ фактической себестоимости видов и комплексов работ с установленными плановыми показателями. Разработка предложений по экономической части проектов договоров подряда Формирование первичной учётной документации Определение стоимости материально-технических ресурсов . Анализ уточнённых данных о технических и ценовых характеристиках используемых ресурсов, обоснование выбора поставщиков, составление заявок на закупку ресурсов. Расчёт себестоимости строительно-монтажных работ . Калькулирование сметной себестоимости работ на основе проектной, рабочей и конкурсной документации, определение величины прямых и косвенных затрат. Контроль соответствия освоенного объёма ресурсов установленным плановым показателям и сметным лимитам. Разработка мероприятий по эффективному использованию трудовых и материально-технических ресурсов, повышению производительности труда, снижению издержек на производство и реализацию строительной продукции. Подготовка бюджетов проектов (БДР - это план, который отражает все прогнозируемые доходы и расходы проекта, чтобы показать его финансовый результат (прибыль или убыток), БДДС -план, по ожидаемым поступлениям и выплатам денежных средств проекта, чтобы оценить его ликвидность и платёжеспособность.) и всех расчетов к ним на утверждение, контроль фактического исполнения утвержденных бюджетов проектов (план/факт); Экономический анализ строительства по проектам и видам работ, в т.ч. в соответствии с КС-2, КС-3 по проектам; отклонений, распределения затрат по проектам; дебиторской/кредиторской задолженности организации в разрезе объектов и видов работ; Участие в оценке инвестиционных проектов. Построение финансовых моделей, расчет показателей эффективности, подготовка презентаций; Участие в разработке внутренних регламентов и положений по бюджетированию и управленческому учету;

Для работы экономистом в строительной компании обычно требуется высшее или среднее профессиональное образование в области планово-экономической деятельности в строительстве. Также может потребоваться опыт практической работы: для работников с высшим образованием требования к опыту работы не предъявляются, для работников со средним профессиональным образованием не менее трёх лет в данной области строительства.
