Проводит первичную диагностику состояния инвалида, ребенка-инвалида (с выводами по каждому статусу). Подбирает методы социально-психологической, социально-педагогической, социокультурной, социально-средовой реабилитации (абилитации), социально-бытовой адаптации, исходя из актуального состояния здоровья, а для инвалидов, детей-инвалидов с учетом рекомендаций в индивидуальной программе реабилитации или абилитации инвалида, ребенка-инвалида. Реализует мероприятия социальной реабилитации (абилитации) с учетом актуального состояния здоровья и ограничений жизнедеятельности, психологического и социального статуса, возраста, образования получателей социальных услуг. Планирует и проводит с получателями социальных услуг коррекционно-развивающую работу (с группой или индивидуально) на основе изучения индивидуальных особенностей получателей социальных услуг. Предоставляет услуги для инвалидов в доступном для них формате с учетом нарушенных функций организма. Оказывает ситуационную помощь инвалидам и лицам с ограниченными возможностями в соответствии с инструкцией об оказании ситуационной помощи инвалидам и лицам с ограниченными возможностями здоровья.

Проявление максимальной чуткости, вежливости, внимания, выдержки, предусмотрительности, терпения при оказании социальных услуг получателям социальных услуг и учитывает их физическое и психологическое состояние.
