Готовит проекты нормативных правовых актов, организационно - распорядительных и других документов, касающихся сферы деятельности. Обеспечивает соблюдение законности в деятельности Администрации Зырянского района и защиту ее правовых интересов. Осуществляет контроль за соответствием нормативных правовых актов органов местного самоуправления муниципального образования Зырянский район требованиям действующего законодательства, а также участвует в необходимых случаях в подготовке нормативных правовых актов органов местного самоуправления муниципального образования Зырянский район . Организует юридическую экспертизу проектов нормативных правовых актов органов местного самоуправления муниципального образования Зырянский район для подписания их Главой Зырянского района. Осуществляет разъяснение действующего законодательства и порядок его применения, оказание правовой помощи структурным подразделениям Администрации района, сельским поселениям Зырянского района, учреждениям культуры Зырянского района, подготовку и передачу необходимых материалов в судебные и арбитражные органы. Осуществляет правовую экспертизу проектов постановлений, распоряжений, инструкций, положений, стандартов и других актов правового характера, подготавливаемых в Администрации Зырянского района и её структурных подразделениях, учреждениях культуры Зырянского района, визирует их, а также участвует в случае необходимости в подготовке этих документов. Готовит заключение по правовым вопросам, возникающим в деятельности Администрации Зырянского района, её структурных подразделениях и учреждениях культуры, а также по проектам нормативных правовых актов, контрактов, договоров и соглашений. Осуществляет консультирование руководителей и работников Администрации Зырянского района, её структурных подразделений и учреждений культуры Зырянского района по правовым вопросам.
