Приём и выкладка товара . Проверка качества поставляемых продуктов, отбраковка некондиционных товаров, расстановка продуктов на витринах, создание привлекательной выкладки, поддержание оптимального количества товара на полках. Обслуживание покупателей . Приветствие, консультирование по ассортименту и качеству продукции, помощь в выборе товаров, упаковка покупок. Работа с кассовым аппаратом . Оформление кассовых операций, выдача чеков. Контроль качества и срока годности . Регулярная проверка срока годности продуктов, отбраковка просроченных товаров, контроль соблюдения правил хранения. Управление запасами . Контроль наличия товара на полках, заказ, приём и выкладка товара, проверка корректности ценников. Поддержание чистоты и порядка . Уборка рабочего места, поддержание гигиенических норм.

Знание ассортимента и характеристик продаваемых товаров, требований, предъявляемых к качеству товаров. Умение осуществлять проверку качества продовольственных товаров по органолептическим показателям (внешнему виду, цвету и запаху) при приёмке и отпуске покупателям. Умение осуществлять предпродажную подготовку товаров . Умение осуществлять выкладку продовольственных товаров в торговом зале. Соблюдение правил товарного соседства, знание и соблюдение условий реализации и сроков годности товаров в соответствии с маркировкой на упаковке. Предоставление покупателям, при необходимости, достаточной и достоверной информации о продаваемых товарах, обеспечивающей возможность их правильного выбора. Знание и соблюдение требований к маркировке товаров, упаковочным материалам, способам и правилам упаковки, оформлению ценников и товарных чеков. Осуществление контроля за наличием акцизных и специальных марок, штриховых кодов и других средств торговой маркировки товаров, предусмотренных действующим законодательством и иными нормативными правовыми актами.
