Заведующий сельским клубом составляет планы и отчеты творческо-производственной деятельности сельского клуба, в том числе по профилактике безнадзорности и правонарушений детей и подростков; проводит различные формы массовых мероприятий и осуществляет организацию досуга для различных групп населения: выставки, концерты, тематические вечера, творческие встречи, экскурсии и других форм просветительской деятельности; массовые театрализованные праздники и представления, вечера отдыха и танцы, детские праздники, игровые и культурно-развлекательные программы; организует досуг семей, находящихся в СОП, и детей, состоящих на учете в КДН и ЗП, и ОП. Ведет работу любительских клубов и объединений по интересам, кружков для различных категорий населения. Выполняет библиотечное, информационное, справочно-библиографическое обслуживание пользователей, ведет учет работы клуба и библиотечного пункта, документацию: Дневники и журналы работы, Читательские формуляры. Обеспечивает надлежащий контроль за выносом выданных читателям документов; поддерживает предусмотренные меры по сохранности библиотечного фонда при открытом доступе: проводит профилактические беседы с читателями, принимает меры для своевременного возврата документов и т.д. Осуществляет строгий контроль за соблюдением посетителями учреждения культуры правил техники безопасности, производственной санитарии, пожарной и террористической безопасности; отвечает за работу по ведению официальных страниц учреждения всоциальных сетях в соответствии с требованиями.
