- управление воздушным движением в районе аэродрома (вертдрома) в своей зоне ответственности, осуществление анализа воздушной и метеорологической обстановки в обслуживаемом и смежном диспетчерских пунктах управления воздушным движением, направления и скорости ветра у земли, видимости на взлетно-посадочной полосе, высоты нижней границы облаков, атмосферного давления на аэродроме и наличия опасных метеорологических явлений; - взаимодействия со смежными диспетчерскими пунктами управления воздушным движением, ведение радиосвязи с ВС в соответствии с технологией работы, правилами и фразеологией радиообмена; - контроль подготовки взлетно-посадочной полосы к взлету или посадке ВС; - информирование старшего руководителя полетов и группы руководства полетов о начале, перерывах и окончании работ на взлетно-посадочной полосе; - контроль наличия устойчивой связи с руководителем работ на аэродроме; - осуществление освобождения взлетно-посадочной полосы от технических и других средств, обеспечение захода на посадку или взлета ВС по выбранной экипажем схеме, информирование экипажа об отклонении ВС по курсу и (или) глиссаде, в пределах своих полномочий осуществляет запрет на посадку ВС и передачу команды об уходе на второй круг при отклонении ВС по курсу и (или) глиссаде выше предельно допустимых значений, при наличии препятствий, при угрозе нарушения безопасных интервалов между ВС; - принятие мер по обеспечению безопасности полетов при возникновении сложной обстановке и особых случаев в полете; - оказание помощи экипажу по предотвращению аварийных ситуаций, при возникновении аварийных ситуаций на борту ВС, при попадании ВС в опасные для полетов метеоусловия и в особых случаях полета; - участие в поиске и аварийно-спасательном обеспечении ВС, потерпевших бедствие; - участие в проведении радиолакационной разведки погоды и оритологической обстановки, воздушной разведки и доразведки погоды, а также предполетного облета средств связи и РСТО полетов; - анализ материалов объективного контроля и готовить данные для разбора полетов; - участие в разработке должностных инструкций и технологии работы руководителя полетов.
