1. Осуществлять координацию деятельности муниципальных общеобразовательных организаций (далее - МОО) по вопросам: реализации прав граждан на получение обязательного общего образования; обучения детей в МОО в различных формах (семейного образования, самообразования, очной, очно-заочной, заочной); реализации основных общеобразовательных программ и выполнения учебных планов в 9-11 классах; применения электронного обучения и дистанционных образовательных технологий при организации обучения в 9-11 классах; реализации профильного обучения, реализации обучения по индивидуальным учебным планам. организации и проведении промежуточной и итоговой аттестации обучающихся; соблюдения санитарно-гигиенических норм и правил в учебных планах МОО (в части не превышения максимальной недельной нагрузки обучающихся) 9-11 классов; соблюдения установленного порядка учета, выдачи документов об образовании; своевременного внесения сведений о документах, выданных МОО в Федеральный реестр сведений документов об образовании и (или) о квалификации, документах об обучении; реализации мероприятий по обеспечению участия обучающихся МОО в региональном проекте Образовательный сертификат для старшеклассника . 2. Организовывать работу с МОО, в части оказания содействия по заключению договоров о целевом обучении в организациях высшего профессионального образования, по направлениям профессиональной подготовки специалистов, востребованных в муниципальном образовании город Салехард. 3. Осуществлять функции по организации и проведению государственной итоговой аттестации выпускников 9 классов МОО в пределах полномочий, установленных соответствующим приказом департамента образования Ямало-Ненецкого автономного округа.

Наличие высшего образования по направлению подготовки в соответствии с Общероссийским классификатором специальностей по образованию: Образование и педагогика, подтверждённое документом об образовании и о квалификации.
