1. Обеспечивает бесперебойную и технически правильную эксплуатацию и надежную работу транспорта, содержание его в работоспособном состоянии. 2. Организует разработку и контроль планов (графиков) осмотров, испытаний и профилактических ремонтов транспортных средств. 3. Согласовывает планы (графики) с подрядными организациями, привлекаемыми для проведения ремонта, своевременно обеспечивает их необходимой технической документацией. 4. Ведет контроль за разработкой нормативных материалов по ремонту транспортных средств, расходу материалов на ремонтно-эксплуатационные нужды, составлением смет на проведение ремонтов, оформлением заявок на приобретение материалов и запасных частей, необходимых при эксплуатации транспортных средств. 5. Организует межремонтное обслуживание, своевременный и качественный ремонт и модернизацию транспортных средств. 6. Принимает участие в изучении причин повышенного износа транспортных средств, расследовании аварий, разработке и внедрении мероприятий по их ликвидации и предупреждению. 7. Обеспечивает соблюдение правил охраны труда и техники безопасности при проведении ремонтных работ. 8. Обеспечивает поддержание и контроль состояния здоровья водителей в процессе их трудовой деятельности. 9. Обеспечивает поддержание необходимого уровня информированности, повышение профессионального мастерства и дисциплинированности водителей. 10. Ведет учет транспорта, стоящего на балансе организации. 11. Готовит предложения руководству учреждения по замене (продаже, списанию, покупке, лизингу) транспортных средств, механизмов. 12. Контролирует работу технического персонала, обеспечивает их необходимыми ГСМ, расходными материалами. 13. Ведет необходимую отчетность, в том числе о лимитах ГСМ.
