Подготовка к операциям: Подготовка операционного зала, аппаратуры, хирургического инструментария, расходных материалов, белья и шовного материала перед каждым вмешательством. Ассистирование бригаде: Подача инструментов, шовного и перевязочного материалов в ходе операции; идеальное понимание этапов хирургического процесса и предвосхищение действий хирурга. Инфекционная безопасность: Строжайший контроль за соблюдением правил асептики и антисептики, санитарно-эпидемиологического режима в операционном блоке; контроль качества стерилизации. Работа с пациентом: Помощь в транспортировке, бережное размещение и правильная укладка пациента на операционном столе, обработка операционного поля. Поштучный учет: Строгий подсчет используемых инструментов, игл и салфеток совместно с хирургом до начала операции, в процессе и перед ушиванием раны. Документация и расходники: Ведение медицинской учетно-отчетной документации, контроль за сохранностью оборудования и сроками годности медикаментов.

Среднее профессиональное медицинское образование по специальности Лечебное дело или Сестринское дело . Обязательно: свидетельство об аккредитации по специальности Операционное сестринское дело . Знание современных стандартов дезинфекции и стерилизации, хирургического инструментария и шовных материалов.
