Проводить мероприятия по поддержанию работоспособности лабораторного оборудования . Осуществлять подготовку приборов к работе, проводить технический осмотр отдельных узлов, контролировать параметры и надёжность электронных элементов оборудования, проводить его тестовые проверки и ремонт. Контролировать проведение ремонта лабораторного оборудования . Контролировать соблюдение сотрудниками лаборатории инструкций по эксплуатации и техническому обслуживанию лабораторного оборудования. Проводить контрольные проверки работоспособности и эффективности действующих систем и технических средств. Проводить испытания и исследования на лабораторном оборудовании в соответствие с утверждённым планом-графиком. Выполнять необходимые расчёты и обосновывать принятые технические решения при рассмотрении и обсуждении выполняемой работы. Выполнять техническую работу по оформлению рукописей, плановой и отчётной документации, графическому оформлению материалов. Вносить необходимые изменения и исправления в техническую документацию в соответствии с решениями, принятыми при рассмотрении и обсуждении выполняемой работы. Принимать и регистрировать поступающую документацию и корреспонденцию по выполняемой работе, обеспечивать её сохранность, вести учёт прохождения документов и контролировать сроки их исполнения. Соблюдать правила внутреннего трудового распорядка, трудовую дисциплину, общие требования к обеспечению радиационной безопасности, нормы радиационной безопасности, требования по охране труда и обеспечению безопасности труда. Незамедлительно сообщать заведующему лабораторией либо другому представителю администрации института о возникновении ситуации, представляющей угрозу жизни и здоровью людей, сохранности имущества института.

Знания . Инженер по эксплуатации оборудования должен знать, в частности, постановления, распоряжения, приказы и другие руководящие, методические и нормативные документы по техническому обслуживанию и ремонту оборудования, зданий, сооружений, систем тепло-, газо-, водоснабжения и водоотведения. Также он должен понимать перспективы технического развития организации, систему планово-предупредительного ремонта обслуживаемого оборудования, технические характеристики, конструктивные особенности, назначение и режимы работы оборудования, устройств и сооружений. Особые условия допуска к работе . Например, прохождение обязательных предварительных и периодических медицинских осмотров, обучения по охране труда и проверки знания требований охраны труда, подготовки и аттестации в области промышленной безопасности, обучения мерам пожарной безопасности.
