Производить медицинские манипуляции. Точно и четко выполнять все назначения врача. Проводить совместно с врачом обход больных и производить запись и сверку назначений в установленном порядке. Осматривать детально ослабленных больных, оказывать помощь при умывании, кормлении. Проводить туалет кожных покровов. Отправлять больных на сдачу анализов и лечебные процедуры в установленном порядке. Собирать материал от больных для лабораторных исследований (моча, кал, мокрота и т.д.), организовывать своевременную отправку их в лабораторию. Инструктировать и подготавливать больных к назначенным лабораторным и диагностическим исследованиям в установленном порядке. Составлять порционные требования и требования на медикаменты. Получать у старшей медсестры медикаменты и материалы. Участвовать в кормлении больных, контролируя соблюдение лечебных столов. Принимать поступивших больных и помещать их в палату после оформления соответствующей документации. Надлежащим образом заполнять необходимую медицинскую документацию (истории болезни, направления больных на клинико-диагностические, функциональные исследования). Следить за своевременным возвращением историй болезни стационарных больных от специалистов, вносить в них результаты исследований. Следить за наличием вложений, необходимые для дальнейшего ведения истории болезни. Транспортировать пациентов, совместно с младшим медперсоналом в перевязочные и операционные (в случае необходимости). Контролировать прием лекарственных препаратов больными. Обеспечивать выполнение больными, посетителями и сотрудниками правил внутреннего распорядка. Изолировать по указанию врача больных, находящихся в алкогольном опьянении. Присутствовать при наступлении смерти больного и вызывать для констатации смерти больного лечащего врача или дежурного врача. Подготавливать и передавать трупы умерших в морг. Обеспечивать явку больных на лечебно-диагностические мероприятия и трудовую терапию. Контролировать выполнение пациентами установленного врачом режима питания, соответствием продуктов, принесенных больному родственниками, разрешенному ассортименту. Ежедневно контролировать состояние холодильников и тумбочек в палатах. Регулярно, не реже 1 раза в 7 дней, осматривать больных на наличие педикулеза, с отметкой в истории болезни, организовывать (в случае необходимости) противопедикулезные мероприятия. Проводить бактерицидное облучение палат, других помещений, согласно графику, разработанного старшей медицинской сестрой отделения, совместно с врачом-эпидемиологом (помощником врача-эпидемиолога).

Среднее профессиональное образование - программы подготовки специалистов среднего звена по специальности "Сестринское дело" или Среднее профессиональное образование - программы подготовки специалистов среднего звена по специальности "Лечебное дело" или "Акушерское дело" и дополнительное профессиональное образование - программы профессиональной переподготовки по специальности "Сестринское дело".
