Организовать работу ветеринарной лечебницы, осуществлять руководство лечебницей, распределять обязанности между работниками лечебницы, определять и уточнять задачи, контролировать их выполнение. Обеспечивать соблюдение обязательных с учетом профиля и специализации деятельности лечебницы требований, установленных в государственных стандартах, санитарных, ветеринарных, противопожарных правилах и других нормативных документах. Анализировать качество оказания ветеринарных услуг, разрабатывать и проводить мероприятия по его повышению. Осуществлять методическое руководство работой ветеринарных специалистов в лечебнице, оказывать практическую помощь. Определять потребность в лекарственных средствах для животных, ветеринарном и лабораторном оборудовании, инструментах, дезинфекционных средствах. Доводить до сведения потребителей: - информацию об оказываемых ветеринарных услугах (перечень и формы предоставления); - расценки на платные ветеринарные услуги; - образцы лекарственных средств и препаратов; - средства ветеринарного назначения, применяемые при оказании платных ветеринарных услуг; - нормативные документы по вопросам ветеринарного обслуживания животных. Изучать и внедрять в практику новые методы и средства профилактики болезней и лечения животных, пропагандировать ветеринарные знания среди населения. Осуществлять контроль за рациональным использованием материальных, финансовых ресурсов. Вести учет товарно- материальных ценностей закрепленных за лечебницей.
