Организация оперативной работы по координации действий членов комиссии по защите прав и восстановлению законных интересов несовершеннолетних во всех сферах жизнедеятельности, где и кем бы они не нарушались. Организация работы по подготовке к рассмотрению дел на заседании комиссии. Обеспечение информационно-методической деятельности комиссии, ведение делопроизводства. Знакомство со всеми материалами, поступающими в администрацию Орловского муниципального округа по проблемам материнства и детства, состояния преступности среди несовершеннолетних. Совместно с председателем и членами комиссии, руководителями отделов администрации Орловского муниципального округа, общественными организациями разработка предложений для проектов перспективных и текущих планов работы комиссии, целевых районных программ по профилактике безнадзорности и правонарушений несовершеннолетних. Обеспечение координирующей функции комиссии со всеми организациями, учреждениями, входящими в районную профилактическую систему. Участие в проведении специализированных профилактических мероприятий совместно с органами образования, внутренних дел, социальной защиты населения, по делам молодежи, здравоохранения Орловского муниципального округа. Рассмотрение писем, жалоб, заявлений граждан по вопросам социальной защиты несовершеннолетних в установленные сроки.
