Отвечает за вопросы развития физической культуры и спорта в муниципальном образовании Лузский муниципальный округ. Участвует в составлении комплексных программ, мероприятий развития физической культуры и спорта в Лузском МО, перспективных, текущих планов работы, плановых заданий, подготовке вопросов на заседания Коллегии по спорту, ведение документации по её деятельности; Осуществляет плановые выезды на предприятия, в организации и учреждения муниципального округа с целью привлечения работников к систематическим занятиям физической культурой и спортом, поддержания состояния здоровья, оказания им методической помощи в пределах своей компетенции; Доводит до сведения руководителей предприятий, организаций и учреждений МО инструкции, приказы, нормативные документы и другие материалы вышестоящих органов, отдела в сфере физической культуры и спорта; Обеспечиваеть подготовку договоров, соглашений, нормативных и правовых документов в сфере физической культуры и спорта в МО; Принимает участие в разработке и реализации целевых и комплексных программ социокультурного развития муниципального образования, в реализации программ субъекта федерации и федеральных целевых программ в сфере физической культуры и спорта; Осуществляет организацию и контроль за проведением массовых мероприятий в сфере физической культуры и спорта (спортивных соревнований, первенств, турниров, фестивалей, дней здоровья, акций и т.д.); Организовывает участие представителей спорта муниципального округа, мун.учреждений спорта в проведении мероприятий областного уровня; Осуществляет подготовку отчётов о деятельности отдела в сфере физической культуры и спорта в пределах своей компетентности; Организовывает сбор статистических показателей, характеризующих состояние спортивной деятельности в муниципальном округе, обеспечивает представление указанных данных уполномоченным органам в порядке, определённом законодательством РФ, обобщает и анализирует собранные статистические данные; Исполняет другие распоряжения и указания руководителя в пределах своих должностных полномочий.
