Главный библиотекарь отдела обслуживания читателей ЦМБО выполняет следующие обязанности: - руководит всей работой отдела обслуживания; - составляет месячные, квартальные и годовые планы работы и контролирует их выполнение; - принимает участие в разработке единого плана библиотечного обслуживания населения района; - координирует и организует работу по библиотечно-библиографическому и информационному обслуживанию населения и производственных коллективов; - обслуживает читателей, осуществляет руководство чтением; - привлекает новых читателей к пользованию библиотекой; - организует внестационарное обслуживание населения города; - посещает школы, другие учебные заведения, учреждения и организации с целью пропаганды книги; - посещает семьи, где имеются читатели с ограниченными возможностями; - организует оперативное удовлетворение запросов всех групп читателей с помощью единого фонда ЦБС, а также фондов других библиотек через МБА; - осуществляет пропаганду литературы путём проведения различных массовых мероприятий; - разрабатывает, организует и оформляет книжно-иллюстративные выставки; - ведёт единую регистрационную картотеку читателей отдела обслуживания ЦРБ; - вносит свои предложения по комплектованию единого фонда центральной районной библиотеки; - определяет подписку на периодические издания для центральной районной библиотеки; - участвует в изучении состава и использования фонда отдела обслуживания; - обеспечивает организацию, хранение и сохранность фонда: ведёт приём новых поступлений, изъятие устаревшей литературы, отбор лишних изданий, составление списков к актам на исключение литературы и т. п.; - несёт материальную ответственность за сохранность фонда; - ведёт ежедневный учёт проделанной работы; - составляет текстовые и статистические отчёты о работе отдела; - распределяет обязанности между сотрудниками с учётом их квалификации; - составляет графики работы сотрудников отдела обслуживания читателей; - контролирует соблюдение работниками отдела обслуживания производственной и трудовой дисциплины, правил по охране труда, технике безопасности и противопожарной безопасности; - оформляет заявки на хозяйственные, ремонтные работы в помещении отдела обслуживания читателей центральной районной библиотеки, на библиотечное оборудование, технические средства, канцелярские товары; - следит за формированием привлекательного для пользователей имиджа библиотеки; - всемерно способствует формированию и укреплению благоприятного морально- психологического климата в коллективе; - хранит служебную и коммерческую тайны

Специальные навыки: владение ПК. Личные качества: коммуникабельность, дисциплинированность.
