Выполняет осмотры и технические освидетельствования объектов распределительных сетей, закреплённых за РЭС, готовит предложения для включения в планы ТОиР, реконструкции и представляет главному инженеру РЭС. Организует и проводит работы по ТОиР распределительных сетей, закреплённых за бригадой, для обеспечения надёжной и безаварийной работы распределительных сетей. Составляет проекты годовых заявок на оборудование, запчасти, материалы, инструменты, приборы и приспособления и представляет главному инженеру РЭС . Ведёт учёт дефектного оборудования распределительных сетей и планирует сроки устранения дефектов. Мастер группы по ТОиР и эксплуатации распределительных сетей: - обеспечивает рациональную загрузку и расстановку членов бригады при выполнении производственных заданий; - ведёт учёт фактически отработанного времени членов бригады в разрезе видов работ; - обеспечивает достоверность данных по фактической загрузке членов бригады группы по ТОиР и эксплуатации распределительных сетей; - разрабатывает предложения по оптимизации использования рабочего времени членов бригады группы по ТОиР и эксплуатации распределительных сетей. Осуществляет оперативное и техническое обслуживание закреплённых за бригадой объектов распределительных сетей (других организаций по договору на обслуживание). Осуществляет ведение технической и эксплуатационной документации по объектам распределительных сетей, предусмотренных внешними и внутренними нормативными документами.

На должность мастера группы по техническому обслуживанию, ремонту (ТОиР) и эксплуатации распределительных сетей назначается лицо, имеющее среднее профессиональное образование - программы подготовки квалифицированных рабочих по направлению Электро- и теплоэнергетика и стаж работы не менее трёх лет в электроэнергетике.
