выполнять ПСР и АСР, и другие виды работ, к проведению которых он аттестован; уметь самостоятельно работать в различных ЧС природного и техногенного характера (после прохождения аттестации на право проведения ПСР и АСР); уметь оказать медицинскую помощь лицам, потерпевшим бедствие при ЧС, контролировать правильность оказания помощи пострадавшим спасателями; владеть в совершенстве всеми видами реанимационной помощи; уметь пользоваться медицинским оборудованием предусмотренным табелем оснащения учреждения; выполнять работы по подготовке и обслуживанию медицинского оборудования, имущества и снаряжения; обучать спасателей методам оказания первой помощи пострадавшим, основам физиологии, проводить практические и теоретические занятия по медицинской подготовке; обобщать и внедрять в практику передовой опыт работы по оказанию медицинской помощи пострадавшим; контролировать соблюдение правил производственной санитарии; проводить ежедневные медицинские осмотры спасателей перед заступлением на дежурство, перед проведением поисково-спасательных и аварийно-спасательных работ, перед проведением водолазных спусков; принимать участие в проведении ежегодного периодического медицинского осмотра спасателей; организовать работу медицинского кабинета в структурных подразделениях учреждения для оказания первой помощи в случае обращения работников при заболевании или травматизации; при наличии жалоб медицинского характера у спасателя, направлять на обследование в медицинскую организацию по согласованию с руководством КГКУ Спасатель; вести динамическое медицинское наблюдение за спасателями в повседневной деятельности и во время проведения поисково-спасательных и аварийно-спасательных работ; вести установленную медицинскую документацию.

Гражданин РФ, имеющий высшее или среднее медицинское образование, владеющий двумя рабочими профессиями, необходимыми для выполнения должностных обязанностей в составе поисково-спасательного формирования, признанный, при медицинском и психодиагностическом освидетельствовании, годным к работе спасателем, прошедший обучение по программе подготовки спасателей и проверку выполнения нормативов по физической подготовке, и аттестованный на право проведения аварийно-спасательных работ и поисково-спасательных работ.
