Организовывает маневровую работу с обязательным условием обеспечения безопасности движения поездов, личной безопасности работников, сохранности подвижного состава и грузов; Закрепляет подвижной состав на путях необщего пользования от ухода; Выполняет другие обязанности согласно ТРА станции в соответствии с местными условиями. При производстве маневровой работы выполняет требования ПТЭ, ИСИ, ИДП и ТРА станции, технологического процесса, устанавливающие порядок выполнения маневров и контролирует точное их соблюдение машинистом маневрового локомотива; Точно и своевременно выполняет задания на маневровую работу; При движении вагонами вперед подает сигнал о начале движения с предстоящим выездом на стрелки только при наличии разрешающего показания маневрового светофора и после получения плана на маневровую работу, согласно Приложения №6 ТРА станции; Перед отцепкой маневрового локомотива от вагонов при оставлении вагонов на путях необщего пользования обеспечивает остановку их в границах пути, обозначенных предельными столбиками, и закрепляет от ухода в порядке, установленном в ТРА станции; При необходимости захода в межвагонное пространство для разъединения и соединения рукавов воздушной магистрали маневровой состав должен быть остановлен, машинист маневрового локомотива должен быть предупрежден об этом, а составитель должен убедиться, что машинист маневрового локомотива его команду понял правильно. Разрешение машинисту маневрового локомотива на приведение в движение локомотива служит сигнал, переданный по радиосвязи только составителем поездов последнего его выхода из межвагонного пространства. При заезде в тупик находится со стороны упора и своевременно подает машинисту маневрового локомотива сигналы, чтобы не допустить наезда на земляную призму. Составитель поездов, следующий на первом по ходу движения вагоне маневрового состава, при заезде маневрового состава на занятый или тупиковый путь обязан сообщить об этом машинисту маневрового локомотива с указанием расстояния, остающегося до стоящих вагонов или тупикового упора. При отсутствии такого сообщения машинист маневрового локомотива обязан вызвать составителя поездов по радиосвязи, а в случае отсутствия ответа - немедленно остановить состав. Производит закрепление подвижного состава тормозными башмаками согласно п. 3.9.1. ТРА станции. Производит доклад о закреплении подвижного состава или о снятии закрепления диспетчеру ЖД службы согласно п.3.9.2. ТРА станции.
