Восстановление психического здоровья и коррекция отклонений. Работа направлена на помощь пациентам в преодолении психологических трудностей, связанных с заболеваниями, травмами или лечением. Выявление барьеров. Специалист анализирует, какие факторы мешают гармоничному развитию личности пациента. Психопрофилактика, психокоррекция, консультирование. Психолог проводит профилактические мероприятия, подбирает коррекционные программы (индивидуальные или групповые), консультирует как самих пациентов, так и их родственников помогает решать личностные, семейные или профессиональные проблемы. Психодиагностика и наблюдение. Проводит исследования (в том числе нейропсихологические, патопсихологические), длительные наблюдения. Особое внимание уделяет лицам из групп риска по развитию психических расстройств. Совместная разработка программ. Вместе с лечащим врачом создаёт развивающие и психокоррекционные программы, учитывая индивидуальные, возрастные и половые особенности пациента. Профориентация. Помогает пациентам с учётом их способностей, желаний и реальных возможностей. Обучение персонала. Проводит занятия для медработников: знакомит с основами медицинской и социальной психологии, деонтологии, помогает в профилактике профессионального выгорания. Оценка эффективности. Анализирует, насколько результативны психологические, лечебные и профилактические мероприятия с точки зрения состояния здоровья пациента. Санитарно-просветительская работа. Проводит беседы с пациентами и их близкими: рассказывает о способах укрепления здоровья, профилактике заболеваний, пропагандирует здоровый образ жизни. Участие в лечебно-диагностическом процессе. Входит в состав консилиумов, предоставляет заключения по результатам обследований, участвует в разработке индивидуальных программ лечения, ведёт динамическое наблюдение. Ведение документации. Оформляет протоколы обследований, составляет психологические заключения, ведёт журналы учёта и отчётные формы. Экстренная помощь. Участвует в работе службы экстренной психологической поддержки, работает с кризисными состояниями, ПТСР, ситуациями утраты. Научно-методическая работа. Участвует в создании методических материалов, анализирует эффективность своей работы, внедряет новые методы помощи, может участвовать в исследованиях. Соблюдение этики. Ключевой пункт строгое соблюдение конфиденциальности информации, полученной в ходе работы.
