Выполнение назначенных видов массажа. Проводит лечебный (классический) массаж Соблюдение правил сочетания массажа с другими методами лечения. Учитывает взаимодействие с ЛФК, физиотерапией, вытяжением, мануальной терапией. Подготовка рабочего места. Организует пространство, подготавливает массажное оборудование и расходные материалы. Организация работы массажиста. Координирует деятельность специалиста, распределяет задачи. Ведение медицинской документации. Заполняет карты пациентов, журналы учёта процедур, в том числе в электронной форме.

Среднее профессиональное образование по специальности Медицинский массаж (есть вариант для лиц с ограниченными возможностями здоровья по зрению) или среднее профессиональное образование по одной из специальностей ( Сестринское дело, Лечебное дело, Акушерское дело ) плюс дополнительная профессиональная переподготовка по специальности Медицинский массаж . Высшее образование (специалитет по Лечебное дело или Педиатрия ) плюс профессиональная переподготовка по специальности Медицинский массаж . Наличие сертификата специалиста по специальности Медицинский массаж и (или) свидетельства об аккредитации специалиста по этой специальности. Прохождение обязательных медицинских осмотров: предварительного (при поступлении на работу), периодических, а также внеочередных в установленном законодательством порядке.
