Планировать и организовывать ремонт и техническое обслуживание основного и вспомогательного оборудования горного участка. Изучать условия работы механизмов горного оборудования участка, выявлять причины преждевременного износа, принимать меры по их предупреждению и устранению. Инструктировать работников горного участка по правилам эксплуатации и обслуживания горного оборудования и устройств. Руководить работниками участка во время производства ремонтных работ, контролировать их качество, соблюдение технологии выполняемых работ, правил по охране труда, производственной санитарии, промышленной и пожарной безопасности. Принимать участие в ликвидации неисправностей в работе устройств, их ремонте, монтаже и регулировке, электротехнических измерениях и испытаниях. Обеспечивать рабочие места материалами, запасными частями, измерительными приборами, защитными средствами, инструментом и приспособлениями, технической документацией. Осваивать и внедрять прогрессивные методы технического обслуживания, ремонта, монтажа и других работ на закрепленном оборудовании. Принимать участие в разработке мероприятий по повышению надежности, качества работы закрепленного оборудования и механизмов, в освоении и модернизации действующих устройств. Участвовать в составлении заявок на материалы, запасные части и инструменты; обеспечивать их экономное и рациональное расходование. Принимать участие в расследовании причин повреждения оборудования и разработке мероприятий по предупреждению аварий и производственного травматизма. Вести техническую и отчетную документацию, относящуюся к электротехническому хозяйству участка, в соответствии с Правилами по охране труда при эксплуатации электроустановок. Своевременно и качественно оформлять дефектные ведомости на все виды ремонтов оборудования, механизмов и устройств.

Высшее образование по специальности Горные машины и комплексы ( Электрификация и автоматизация горных работ, Горная электромеханика, Горное машиностроение, Эксплуатация автоматических устройств в горной промышленности ) и стаж работы не менее 1 года или средне-профессиональное образование по тем же специальностям и стаж работы не менее 2 лет
