Регулярная уборка территории. Подметание, сбор мусора, очистка дорожек, тротуаров, газонов от пыли, листьев, случайного мусора. Работа с урнами. Очистка урн по мере наполнения (часто закрепляют норму не реже двух раз в день), их промывка и дезинфекция. Содержание зелёных зон. Покос травы в летний период, полив насаждений и их ограждений. Зимний период. Расчистка дорожек и подъездов от снега и наледи, посыпание скользких участков песком или противогололёдными реагентами. Обслуживание инженерных систем. Прочистка канав и лотков для стока воды, очистка крышек канализационных, пожарных и газовых колодцев. Поддержание порядка в подсобных помещениях (например, в бытовке, где хранится инвентарь). Соблюдение санитарных норм. Использование разрешённых дезинфицирующих средств, правильная утилизация отходов. Безопасность. Перед началом работы осмотр территории: проверка, закрыты ли колодцы, огорожены ли ямы, нет ли опасных предметов (битого стекла, арматуры). При необходимости установка временных ограждений. Информирование. Незамедлительное сообщение руководителю о любых ситуациях, угрожающих здоровью людей (прорыв труб, запах газа, несчастный случай). Выполнение поручений. В том числе мелких хозяйственных задач, которые поручает руководство.

Знания. Сотрудник должен знать санитарно-эпидемиологические требования к содержанию территории, правила применения моющих и дезинфицирующих средств, правила охраны труда, пожарной безопасности и производственной санитарии. Полезно разбираться в типах инвентаря, правилах его использования и хранения. Личные качества. Часто отдельно отмечают ответственность, аккуратность, исполнительность и готовность к физической работе. Дополнительные навыки. В зависимости от задач могут попросить умения работать с ручным инструментом, средствами малой механизации (например, газонокосилками), а в некоторых случаях навыки сезонной уборки (очистка от снега, посыпка песком). Что важно в условиях санатория: Из-за профиля учреждения к дворнику предъявляют повышенные требования именно в части санитарии. Это значит, что при уборке нужно строго соблюдать санитарные правила, правильно обрабатывать урны, контейнеры и другие объекты, чтобы не нарушать санитарный режим
