Организация обучения и инструктажей проводить все виды противопожарных инструктажей с сотрудниками, обучать персонал правилам пользования огнетушителями и самоспасателями, а также организовывать повышение квалификации ответственных лиц. Контроль систем противопожарной защиты следить за исправностью автоматической пожарной сигнализации, систем оповещения и дымоудаления, организовывать их своевременное техническое обслуживание и ремонт. Управление первичными средствами вести учёт и расчёт необходимого количества огнетушителей, пожарных кранов и средств индивидуальной защиты (СИЗОД), контролировать их наличие, состояние и своевременную перезарядку. Разработка документации готовить и актуализировать инструкции о мерах пожарной безопасности, планы эвакуации, паспорта на огневые работы, приказы о назначении ответственных лиц и порядок действий при пожаре. Проверки и контроль проводить плановые пожарно-технические обследования зданий и оборудования (не реже 4 раз в год), выдавать предписания об устранении нарушений, а при необходимости приостанавливать опасные работы до устранения угроз. Руководство при пожаре до прибытия подразделений МЧС организовать эвакуацию людей и материальных ценностей, руководить тушением пожара имеющимися силами и средствами, обеспечивать охрану спасённого имущества. Взаимодействие с надзорными органами и отчётность готовить отчетную (статистическую) документацию по вопросам пожарной безопасности подготавливать отчеты и материалы по запросам региональных и территориальных органов пожарного надзора проводить обследование совместно с представителями соответствующих подразделений организации пожарно-технических обследований зданий, сооружений, оборудования, машин и механизмов на соответствие их требованиям пожарной безопасности (не реже четырех раз в год) анализировать состояния пожарной безопасности, причин нарушений законодательства.

Нормы и правила обеспечения первичными средствами пожаротушения и огнетушителями объектов защиты. Правила размещения знаков пожарной безопасности, к электроустановкам, системам отопления, вентиляциям и т.д.
