Подготовка к процедуре: готовит аппаратуру, инструменты, перевязочный материал, операционное бельё и медикаменты для каждого исследования, обеспечивает их сохранность; накрывает стерильный стол; выполняет назначения врача-эндоскописта по подготовке пациента к исследованию; информирует пациента о ходе процедуры, необходимых ограничениях в питании и принимаемых препаратах; обеспечивает психологическую поддержку пациенту, помогая снизить уровень тревожности. Ассистирование врачу во время процедуры: активно помогает врачу-эндоскописту в проведении исследования, чётко выполняет все его указания; подаёт врачу необходимые инструменты; контролирует состояние пациента, отслеживает его жизненные показатели; обеспечивает безопасность пациента во время проведения исследования. Уход за пациентом после процедуры: наблюдает за состоянием пациента, оценивает его самочувствие; контролирует возможные осложнения и при необходимости оказывает медицинскую помощь; информирует пациента о дальнейшем уходе и возможных ограничениях. Работа с материалами и оборудованием: доставляет биопсийный и цитологический материал в патолого-анатомическое отделение для исследования; проводит дезинфекцию и предстерилизационную обработку изделий медицинского назначения и использованных одноразовых шприцев; доставляет в централизованное стерилизационное отделение инструментарий, перевязочный материал и операционное бельё для стерилизации, своевременно забирает их обратно; проводит дезинфекцию и стерилизацию эндоскопической аппаратуры.
