Прием доставленного на исследование трупного материала, проверка соответствия трупного материала записям направления, качества фиксации. Оказание квалифицированной помощи врачу-судебно-медицинскому эксперту при в дополнительной вырезке трупного материала, его маркировке и других предварительных действиях. Подготовка предметных и покровных стекол в соответствии с существующими методиками. Проведение промывки вырезанного трупного материала. Работа на автоматах для гистологической обработки и заливки тканей. Осуществление спиртовой или ацетоновой проводки трупного материала для проведения последующей заливки трупного материала. Заливка трупного материала в парафин, целлоидин, желатин и другие среды. Подготовка и маркировка блоков с трупным материалом. Выполнение резки обработанного трупного материала на всех видах микротомов. Изготовление гистологических микропрепаратов из трупного материала из парафиновых, целлоидиновых блоков, а также методом заморозки. Приготовление качественных гистологических микропрепаратов из трупного материала в соответствии с требованиями действующих нормативных документов. Проведение окраски срезов гематоксилином и эозином, в необходимых случаях осваивать и применять на практике иные методики специальных окрасок.
