Основными направлениями деятельности мастера производственного обучения по вождению являются: проведение практических занятий с обучающимися на курсах водителей транспортных средств категории B, выполнение учебной программы по предмету Вождение автомобиля, соблюдение правил, норм и требований техники безопасности, производственной санитарии при проведении занятий, поддержание закрепленных автомашин в исправном состоянии, осуществление различных видов ремонта и обслуживания закрепленной техники. Мастер производственного обучения по вождению обязан проходить периодический медицинский осмотр, проверять техническую готовность машины к работе, разъяснять обучаемому принципы действия и управления средствами передвижения, сопровождать обучаемого в учебных поездках, контролировать навыки вождения и управления у обучаемого, разъяснять правила дорожного движения обучаемому, осуществлять контроль за знанием правил дорожного движения и их соблюдением, осуществлять техническое обслуживание и принимать участие в ремонте транспортного средства, производить заправку транспортного средства горюче-смазочными материалами, проходить инструктаж по охране труда и технике безопасности. Формировать у обучающихся профессиональные знания, навыки и умения в соответствии с требованиями квалификационной характеристики водителя. Разрабатывать под руководством старшего мастера программу обучения по предмету Вождение автомобиля в соответствии с утвержденными учебными планами. Осуществлять учет выданных обучающимся часов и упражнений согласно установленных в техникуме правил и требований. Своевременно и правильно оформлять ученические путевые листы, производить списание горючесмазочных материалов, запасных частей и агрегатов. Контролировать посещаемость занятий и успеваемость обучающихся. Организовывать подготовку обучающихся к сдаче квалификационных экзаменов по предмету Вождение автомобиля, участвовать в организации сдачи экзаменов обучающимися в Госавтоинспекции.
