Осуществляет руководство текущим и перспективным планированием технического развития предприятия, ее технической и технологической базы. Организует внедрение новой техники, стандартов, технологий и рациональных методов технического обслуживания и ремонта подвижного состава автомобильного транспорта. Осуществляет руководство работниками технического отдела и операторами заправочной станции. Проводит анализ причин и частоты возникновения неисправностей подвижного состава и на его основе уточняет периодичность и объем работ по техническому обслуживанию, а также разрабатывает мероприятия по увеличению межремонтного пробега подвижного состава. Поддерживает связь с авторемонтными и шиноремонтными предприятиями, принимает участие в сдаче подвижного состава, агрегатов и шин в капитальный ремонт и в приемке их из ремонта, контролируя своевременность сдачи и комплектность сдаваемого ремонтного фонда. Анализирует данные технического учета и организует подготовку расчетов для составления заявок на материальные ценности, необходимые для обеспечения работы технической службы предприятия. Участвует в обеспечении подразделений технической службы необходимыми запчастями, материалами. Обеспечивает технической документацией все производственные участки, визирует документы, разрабатываемые в отделе и представляет их руководству предприятия на утверждение. Организует и совершенствует технический учет, контролирует его ведение. Участвует в приемке подвижного состава, агрегатов, поступающих с заводов-изготовителей и авторемонтных заводов, списании подвижного состава, агрегатов и шин. Оформляет документы на списание подвижного состава. Осуществляет контроль за постоянным соблюдением технологических процессов технического обслуживания и технических ремонтов автомобилей, участвует в обеспечении качественного выполнения этих работ.. Анализирует причины допущенного перерасхода автомобильного топлива и смазочных материалов, сырья и других материалов при техническом обслуживании и ремонте, а также причины недопробега автомашин и разрабатывает меры по их устранению. Устанавливает обязанности для работников технического отдела. Осуществляет руководство работниками отдела, обеспечивает соблюдение работниками производственной и трудовой дисциплины, правил и норм по охране труда и технике безопасности, производственной санитарии, пожарной безопасности. Составляет графики сменности операторов заправочной станции, знакомит с ними работников за один месяц до введения их в действие, ведет табельный учет их фактического времени пребывания, осуществляет контроль за их своевременной явкой на работу и уходом с работы. Готовит и представляет экономисту предприятия табель, содержащий сведения об отработанном времени, сверхурочных часах работы, нарушениях трудовой дисциплины и т.д.
