Муниципальный служащий исполняет обязанности, предусмотренные статьей 12 Федерального закона от 2 марта 2007 г. № 25-ФЗ О муниципальной службе в Российской Федерации, в том числе соблюдает ограничения, выполняет обязательства и требования к служебному поведению, не нарушает запреты, установленные федеральным законодательством. Муниципальный служащий исполняет следующие должностные обязанности: осуществляет оперативное руководство Отделом и определяет задачи муниципальных служащих при выполнении их должностных обязанностей; организует и ведет работу по выявлению и учету лиц с психическими расстройствами, нуждающихся в установлении над ними опеки, дееспособных совершеннолетних лиц, которые нуждаются в попечительстве по состоянию здоровья, учет лиц, в отношении и которых установлено попечительство в форме патронажа; организует и осуществляет надзор за деятельностью опекунов и попечителей, приемных родителей; организует и оказывает необходимую помощь опекунам и попечителям несовершеннолетних граждан в реализации и защите прав подопечных; осуществляет защиту прав и охраняемых законом интересов детей-сирот и детей, оставшихся без попечения родителей, детей, нуждающихся в помощи государства; рганизует и готовит документы и заключения для возбуждения в суде дел о признании гражданина недееспособным или ограниченно дееспособным, о признании гражданина дееспособным, об отмене ограничения дееспособности гражданина, о других делах, связанных с защитой прав и охраняемых законом интересов подопечных; по доверенности представляет в установленном порядке интересы администрации МО Инта в судах и других государственных органах по вопросам, отнесенным к ведению Отдела; организует в порядке, установленном законодательством, функции по немедленному отобранию ребенка у родителей или других лиц, на попечении которых он находится, при непосредственной угрозе жизни или здоровью ребенка; временно исполняет обязанности опекуна или попечителя, если лицу, нуждающемуся в опеке или попечительстве, в течение месяца не назначен опекун или попечитель; осуществляет консультирование граждан, прием документов, рассматривает обращения граждан, организаций, готовит ответы на обращения в пределах своей компетенции; и т.д.

Наличие стажа муниципальной службы не менее двух лет или стажа работы по специальности, направлению подготовки. Для лиц, имеющих дипломы специалиста или магистра с отличием, в течение трех лет со дня выдачи диплома не менее одного года стажа муниципальной службы или работы по специальности, направлению подготовки.
