1. Управление транспортным средством и обеспечение безопасности на дороге: управление автомобилем в соответствии с Правилами дорожного движения (ПДД); соблюдение скоростного режима и безопасной дистанции; выбор оптимального маршрута с учётом дорожной обстановки, пробок и погодных условий; обеспечение безопасности пассажиров и других участников дорожного движения; экономная и безопасная эксплуатация автомобиля, рациональное расходование топлива. 2. Перевозка пассажиров и/или грузов: безопасная перевозка пассажиров либо доставка грузов/посылок по установленному маршруту; соблюдение согласованных сроков доставки; контроль сохранности груза во время перевозки; при перевозке пассажиров вежливое и корректное общение, соблюдение норм делового этикета (если это предусмотрено должностью, например, для корпоративного водителя). 3. Техническое обслуживание автомобиля: проведение предрейсового и послерейсового осмотра автомобиля: проверка уровня технических жидкостей, состояния шин, работы световых приборов, тормозной системы и т. д.; своевременное выявление и устранение мелких неисправностей, не требующих разборки механизмов (например, замена ламп, предохранителей); контроль прохождения плановых технических осмотров и обслуживания согласно графику; взаимодействие с сервисными центрами и ремонтными службами для устранения серьёзных неисправностей; поддержание чистоты салона и внешнего вида автомобиля. 4. Документальное оформление и отчётность: ведение путевых листов и другой транспортной документации; фиксация нештатных ситуаций, нарушений ПДД, повреждений автомобиля или груза; подготовка отчётов о расходе топлива, пробеге и состоянии автомобиля по требованию руководства; оформление документов при ДТП (при необходимости взаимодействие с ГИБДД и страховыми компаниями). 5. Действия в чрезвычайных ситуациях: соблюдение правил оказания первой помощи при ДТП и других чрезвычайных ситуациях; контроль наличия и исправности аварийного знака, аптечки, огнетушителя и средств связи; своевременное информирование руководства о ситуациях, угрожающих безопасности или препятствующих выполнению работы; участие в расследовании аварийных и нештатных случаев (по указанию руководства).
