Соблюдать режим работы, установленный в организации. Следовать правилам дорожного движения, соблюдать все дорожные знаки, своевременно изучать все изменениям, законодательно вносимые в ПДД. Поддерживать техническое состояние закрепленных автомобилей на уровне требований по безопасной эксплуатации автотранспортных средств. Не употреблять перед или в процессе работы алкоголь, психотропные, снотворные, антидепрессивные и другие средства, снижающие внимание, реакцию и работоспособность организма человека. Оформлять документы, относящиеся к его деятельности. Заполнять путевые листы, указывая маршрут, показания спидометра (расстояние) и количество заправленного топлив. Обеспечить сохранность имущества, находящегося в салоне и багажнике закреплённого автомобиля, а также контроль за сохранностью и целостностью самого автомобиля, в том числе оставление его на парковках и стоянках только на охраняемых стоянках с включенной сигнализацией, блокировкой всех дверей и окон как во время движения, так и во время остановок. Выполнять все распоряжения руководства учебного центра.

Водитель должен знать: правила дорожного движения; правила и нормы охраны труда, техники безопасности и противопожарной безопасности; назначение, устройство, принципы действия, работу и обслуживание агрегатов, механизмов и приборов для обслуживания закрепленных автомобилей; признаки, причины, способы определения и устранения неисправностей закрепленных автомобилей; объемы, периодичность и основные правила выполнения работ по техническому обслуживанию закрепленных автомобилей; причины, способы обнаружения и устранения неисправностей, возникших в процессе эксплуатации закрепленных автомобилей; порядок проведения технического обслуживания и правила хранения закрепленных автомобилей в гаражах и на открытых стоянках; правила эксплуатации аккумуляторных батарей и автомобильных шин; правила обкатки новых автомобилей и после капитального ремонта; влияние погодных условий на безопасность вождения автомобиля; штрафные санкции за нарушение правил дорожного движения.
