Осуществлять: · подготовку проектов документов в пределах компетенции Департамента; · разработку проектов нормативных правовых актов в области особо охраняемых природных территорий, сохранения биологического разнообразия и развития системы ООПТ; · рассмотрение проектов нормативных правовых актов, подготовленных другими структурными подразделениями Министерства, а также иными федеральными органами исполнительной власти, в части касающейся ООПТ; · работу с федеральными информационными ресурсами и информационными системами в сфере ООПТ и охраны окружающей среды (в том числе ГИС «Нормотворчество», информационные системы учета ООПТ); · подготовку справочной, аналитической и иной информации в области развития системы ООПТ, сохранения биологического и ландшафтного разнообразия, управления федеральными государственными бюджетными учреждениями, осуществляющими управление ООПТ, а также в сфере экологического туризма на ООПТ. Обеспечивать: · исполнение поручений Президента Российской Федерации, Правительства Российской Федерации, руководства Министерства; · подготовку справочных и аналитических материалов в области организации и функционирования ООПТ, государственного надзора в области охраны и использования ООПТ; · организацию проведения совещаний, относящихся к компетенции отдела, Департамента и Министерства; · взаимодействие с федеральными государственными бюджетными учреждениями, осуществляющими управление национальными парками и заповедниками, по вопросам основной деятельности; · участие в формировании и реализации государственной политики в сфере развития системы ООПТ, включая совершенствование законодательства об ООПТ; · координацию работы по развитию познавательного туризма и рекреационной деятельности на ООПТ, а также подготовку предложений по оптимизации управления особо охраняемыми природными территориями.
