Нести службу по охране объектов и материальных ценностей. Знать описание и время действия пропусков, документы, удостоверяющие личность. Осуществлять проверку документов у проходящих на охраняемый объект (выходящих с объекта) лиц и контроль за ввозом и вывозом (выносом) материальных ценностей. При необходимости производить досмотр вещей, а также личный досмотр сотрудников и работников организации при помощи технических средств. Оформлять и выдавать в соответствии с установленным порядком временные пропуска. Пропускать и выпускать работников объекта, посетителей, автомобильный и другие виды транспорта с территории объекта в порядке и по образцам документов, утвержденных начальником организации. Сверять данные сопроводительных документов, обнаруживать принадлежность поданных личных документов в лице предъявителя. Осуществлять контроль за работой установленных приборов охранной, охранно-пожарной сигнализации, видеонаблюдения и систем контроля доступа. Сообщать об их срабатывании начальнику комендантского отделения и руководству организации, а при необходимости - в орган внутренних дел или в пожарную часть. Выяснять причины срабатывания сигнализации и принимать меры к задержанию нарушителей или ликвидации пожара. Принимать под охрану от материально-ответственных лиц оборудованные сигнализацией обособленные помещения. Осуществлять задержание лиц, пытающихся незаконно вывезти (вынести) материальные ценности с охраняемого объекта. Контролировать работу приборов охранной, охранно-пожарной сигнализации, видеонаблюдения, СКУД, установленных на охраняемых объектах.

Годен по состоянию здоровья к службе в органах внутренних дел. Наличие желания проходить службу в органах внутренних дел. Отсутствие судимостей, привлечений к уголовной ответственности. Отсутствие привлечений к административной ответственности, связанной с сохранностью материальных ценностей.

Вакансия одновременно с приёмом на работу предусматривает аттестацию на присвоение специального звания сотрудника внутренней службы МВД РФ. Вакансия подлежит замещению гражданами как мужского, так и женского пола.
