1. Оказывать и организовывать своевременное и квалифицированное обследование, диагностику и лечение пациента в соответствии с порядками и стандартами медицинской помощи, клиническими рекомендациями, приглашать для консультаций врачей-специалистов, при необходимости созывать консилиум врачей. 2. Оказывать необходимую помощь при неотложных состояниях. 3. Осуществлять сбор жалоб, анамнеза жизни у пациентов. Интерпретировать и анализировать информацию, полученную от пациентов. 4. Самостоятельно проводить или организовывать необходимые диагностические, лечебные, реабилитационные и профилактические процедуры и мероприятия. 5. Выполнять перечень работ и услуг для диагностики заболевания, оценки состояния больного и клинической ситуации в соответствии со стандартом медицинской помощи. 6. Облегчать боль, связанную с заболеванием и (или) с медицинским вмешательством. 8. На основании сбора анамнеза, клинического наблюдения и результатов клинико-лабораторных и инструментальных исследований устанавливать (или подтверждать) диагноз. 9. Обосновывать и устанавливать диагноз в соответствии с Международной статистической классификацией болезней и проблем, связанных со здоровьем (МКБ). 10. Оказывать квалифицированную медицинскую помощь по своей специальности, используя современные методы профилактики, диагностики, лечения и реабилитации, разрешенные для применения в медицинской практике. 11. Определять тактику ведения больного в соответствии с установленными правилами и стандартами. 12. Разрабатывать план обследования больного, уточнять объем и рациональные методы обследования пациента с целью получения в минимально короткие сроки полной и достоверной диагностической информации. Вносить изменения в план лечения в зависимости от состояния пациента и определять необходимость дополнительных методов обследования. 13. В соответствии с установленными правилами и стандартами назначать и контролировать необходимое лечение, организовывать или самостоятельно проводить необходимые диагностические, лечебные, реабилитационные и профилактические процедуры и мероприятия.

Высшее образование - специалитет по одной из специальностей: "Лечебное дело", "Педиатрия". Подготовка в интернатуре/ординатуре по специальности "Онкология" или Профессиональная переподготовка по специальности "Онкология" при наличии подготовки в интернатуре/ординатуре по одной из специальностей: "Акушерство и гинекология", "Гематология", "Колопроктология", "Нейрохирургия", "Общая врачебная практика (семейная медицина)", "Оториноларингология", "Офтальмология", "Сурдология-оториноларингология", "Терапия", "Урология", "Хирургия", "Челюстно-лицевая хирургия".
