Рассчитывает среднедушевой доход семьи или одиноко проживающего гражданина. Осуществляет формирование и ведение автоматизированной базы получателей государственных услуг. Осуществляет прием граждан, обеспечивает своевременное и полное рассмотрение устных и письменных обращений граждан и юридических лиц, готовит проекты ответов заявителям в установленные законодательством сроки по вопросам, относящимся к компетенции отдела. Принимает участие в проведении и составлении акта обследования материально-бытовых условий проживания семей, нуждающихся в государственной социальной помощи.
