Выполнение диагностических мероприятий, назначаемых врачом. Медсестра проводит функциональные исследования, которые врач определяет в рамках своей компетенции. Подготовка диагностической и вспомогательной аппаратуры к работе. Медсестра проверяет исправность оборудования, правильность его эксплуатации и соблюдение техники безопасности. Контроль сохранности и исправности аппаратуры, своевременное её обслуживание и ремонт. Медсестра следит за состоянием оборудования, фиксирует неисправности и сообщает о них руководству. Подготовка пациента к исследованию. Медсестра объясняет пациенту суть процедуры, помогает занять нужное положение тела, обеспечивает психологическую и физическую подготовку. Контроль состояния пациента во время проведения функционального исследования. Медсестра следит за самочувствием пациента, при необходимости оказывает доврачебную помощь при ухудшении состояния. Обеспечение инфекционной безопасности. Медсестра соблюдает правила санитарно-гигиенического и противоэпидемического режима, асептики, правильно использует медицинские изделия. Ведение медицинской документации. Медсестра своевременно и качественно оформляет учётные и отчётные документы, регистрирует пациентов и проведённые исследования. Оказание неотложной помощи при острых заболеваниях, несчастных случаях и различных видах катастроф с последующим привлечением врачебного персонала. Соблюдение правил внутреннего трудового распорядка, трудовой дисциплины, норм охраны труда и пожарной безопасности. Медсестра правильно применяет средства индивидуальной и коллективной защиты, немедленно сообщает руководителю о несчастных случаях или ситуациях, угрожающих жизни и здоровью. Систематическое повышение профессиональной квалификации. Медсестра регулярно обновляет знания и практические навыки.

Среднее профессиональное образование по специальностям Сестринское дело, Лечебное дело или Акушерское дело, а также диплом о профессиональной переподготовке по специальности Функциональная диагностика и аккредитация по специальности "Функциональная диагностка"
