- разрабатывает и согласовывает в установленном порядке проекты муниципальных правовых актов, подготавливает иные проекты документов; - осуществляет общее руководство деятельностью отдела; - организует разработку, рассмотрение и утверждение документов стратегического планирования социально-экономического развития округа, по поддержке и развитию малого и среднего предпринимательства, по развитию потребительского рынка, координирует процесс их реализации и корректировки; - участвует в подготовке проекта бюджета округа, материалов и документов, обязательных для представления одновременно с проектом бюджета; - осуществляет мониторинг и комплексный анализ социально-экономического развития, подготовку ежеквартальных, годовых отчетов; - оказывает консультативную помощь в разработке программ, планов, прогнозов социально-экономического; - организует разработку и осуществляет контроль за исполнением комплекса мероприятий по улучшению инвестиционного климата, поддержке инвестиционной деятельности; - организует консультационную, информационно-методическую работу по защите прав потребителей; - проводит мониторинг розничных цен на социально-значимые группы продовольственных товаров;
