1.Осуществлять контроль над соблюдением санитарно - гигиенических требований, предъявляемых к организации работы залов для групповых и индивидуальных занятий лечебной физкультурой, тренажеров и других спортивных сооружений (устройство, размеры, освещение, вентиляция помещений, температура воздуха и пр.). 2. Готовить воспитанников к занятиям лечебной физкультурой, осуществлять контроль за состоянием воспитанников во время проведения процедуры. 3. Проводить индивидуальные и групповые занятия лечебной гимнастикой. 4. Проводить функциональные пробы с физической нагрузкой. 5. Проводить оценку физического развития, физической работоспособности воспитанников, функции внешнего дыхания, сердечно-сосудистой системы, нервно-мышечного аппарата при занятиях лечебной физкультурой. 6. Использовать методики лечебной физкультуры при различных заболеваниях опорно-двигательного аппарата, нервной системы, внутренних органов. 7. Использовать методику лечебной физкультуры у воспитанников. 8. Давать рекомендации по проведению физических упражнений. 9. Соблюдать требования охраны труда, техники безопасности, гигиены труда, противопожарной безопасности при эксплуатации помещений, оборудования и оснащения, используемого для занятий лечебной физкультурой. 10. Своевременно и качественно вести медицинскую документацию; проводить регистрацию воспитанников и проводимых занятий в журнале. 11. Соблюдать морально-правовые нормы профессионального общения,выполнять требования трудовой дисциплины. 12. Проводить санитарно-просветительскую работу. 13. Оказывать доврачебную помощь при неотложных состояниях.

Инструктор ЛФК должен знать: - Основы физиологии и патофизиологии организма. - Методику проведения занятий по лечебной физкультуре для больных с различными заболеваниями. -Показания и противопоказания к проведению занятий по лечебной физкультуре.
