уход и наблюдение за состоянием детей, их физиологическими отправлениями, сном; точное и своевременное выполнение назначений врача, фиксация выполненных назначений в медицинской документации; измерение температуры, пульса, частоты дыхания, артериального давления, массы тела, регистрация данных в медицинской карте; сбор биологического материала (моча, кал, мокрота и др.) для лабораторных исследований, доставка в лабораторию, получение результатов и их фиксация в документации; подготовка детей к медицинским осмотрам, исследованиям, лечебным и диагностическим вмешательствам; контроль за соблюдением детьми режима питания (диеты), раздачей пищи, кормлением тяжелобольных и детей младшего возраста; санитарно-гигиеническое обслуживание физически ослабленных и тяжелобольных детей (умывание, кормление, промывание рта, глаз, ушей и т. д.); обучение детей и их родителей правилам личной гигиены; контроль за санитарным состоянием закреплённых палат, соблюдением правил асептики и антисептики; ведение медицинской документации, составление порционных требований на питание; сопровождение детей на исследования (рентгенологические, эндоскопические и др.) по назначению врача; немедленное информирование врача о внезапном ухудшении состояния пациента.

среднее профессиональное образование по специальности Сестринское дело или Лечебное дело / Акушерское дело с дополнительным профессиональным образованием по программе профессиональной переподготовки по специальности Сестринское дело в педиатрии; свидетельство об аккредитации по специальности Сестринское дело в педиатрии прохождение обязательных предварительных (при поступлении на работу) и периодических медицинских осмотров в установленном законом порядке; отсутствие ограничений на занятие профессиональной деятельностью.
