- обеспечивать оперативную связь со средствами массовой информации; - осуществлять размещение информации пресс-службы Губернатора Тюменской области в средствах массовой информации; - участвовать в заседаниях, совещаниях, конференциях и других мероприятиях, проводимых по вопросам, входящим в компетенцию пресс-службы Губернатора Тюменской области; - обеспечивать оперативную связь с пресс-службами органов исполнительной власти Тюменской области с целью получения полной и достоверной информации о ходе выполнения постановлений, распоряжений Губернатора Тюменской области и других документов; - осуществлять подготовку и распространение в средствах массовой информации материалов (пресс-релизы, информации, сообщения, статьи, интервью и др.) о деятельности Губернатора Тюменской области и др.

Замещается из кадрового резерва или по результатам конкурса. В настоящее время конкурс не объявлен Профессиональное образование. Требования к направлению подготовки (специальности), а также к стажу государственной гражданской службы или стажу работы по специальности, направлению подготовки не предъявляются. Главный специалист должен обладать следующими профессиональными знаниями в сфере законодательства Российской Федерации: Закона Российской Федерации от 27.12.1991 № 2124-1 О средствах массовой информации; Федерального закона от 13.03.2006 № 38-ФЗ О рекламе и др. Иные профессиональные знания главного специалиста должны включать: 1) основных направлений государственной политики в сфере средств массовой информации и массовых коммуникаций, в том числе компьютерных сетей общего пользования; 2) основ осуществления деятельности в сфере средств массовой информации и массовых коммуникаций и др. Главный специалист должен обладать следующими профессиональными умениями: 1) написания текстов поздравлений, телеграмм, приветственных адресов; 2) подготовки мониторингов, справок и обзоров публикаций; 3) организации брифингов, пресс-конференций и других мероприятий с представителями средств массовой информации и др. Главный специалист должен обладать следующими функциональными знаниями: Федерального закона от 02.05.2006 № 59-ФЗ О порядке рассмотрения обращений граждан Российской Федерации и др.
