Проводить прием и регистрацию проб, бактериологические, молекулярно-биологические, серологические исследования с микроорганизмами III-IV групп патогенности, организовывать и осуществлять мониторинг за циркуляцией возбудителей инфекций во внешней среде. Обеспечивать высокий уровень качества, полноту, правильность проведения исследований (испытаний), достоверность, объективность и точность их результатов. Владеть методикой работы в программном средстве Лабораторно-информационная система, Единая информационная аналитическая система Роспотребнадзора в соответствии с предоставленными полномочиями, а также в других средствах информатизации по мере их внедрения в лабораторию и в ОИЛЦ. Соблюдать установленный порядок и сроки проведения исследований (испытаний), вести технические записи в рабочих и регистрационных журналах. Своевременно оформлять результаты исследований в программных средствах Лабораторная информационная система, Единая информационная аналитическая система Роспотребнадзора и по результатам исследований биологического материала. Соблюдать порядок учета, хранения, передачи и транспортирования микроорганизмов III-IV групп патогенности. Выполнять учет поступления и расхода питательных сред, реактивов, иммунобиологических препаратов, контроль качества поступающих материалов. Поддерживать в надлежащем состоянии рабочие помещения, средства измерений, испытательное и вспомогательное оборудование, стандартные образцы и рабочие штаммы музейных культур. Выполнять исследования при проведении внешнего контроля. Осваивать и внедрять в практику новые методы исследований, оборудование, передовые формы и методы работы.

Высшее образование- специалитет по одной из специальностей Лечебное дело, Медико-профилактическое дело и подготовка в интернатуре или ординатуре по одной из специальностей Бактериология, Вирусология, Клиническая лабораторная диагностика . Профессиональная переподготовка по специальности Бактериология . Повышение квалификации и аккредитация специалиста по специальности Бактериология .
