Организация профилактической работы по предупреждению дорожно-транспортных происшествий и осуществление контроля за соблюдением трудового законодательства в Обществе, за выполнением работниками Общества Правил дорожного движения и Правил технической эксплуатации автомобилей, инструкций, приказов и других руководящих материалов в части обеспечения безопасности движения и принимает необходимые меры по предупреждению дорожно-транспортных происшествий. Контроль и проверки надлежащего технического состояния выпускаемого на линию подвижного состава, соответствующего видам перевозок и квалификации водителей; соблюдение дисциплины, состояние здоровья водителей и качество их работы на линии; повышение профессионального мастерства водителей и других работников, деятельность которых связана с эксплуатацией подвижного состава. Контроль соблюдения водителями на линии Правил дорожного движения и обеспечение в соответствии с графиком выезды на линию работников автохозяйства для проведения проверок соблюдения водителями Правил дорожного движения. Участие в разработке проектов перспективных и текущих планов по обеспечению безопасности движения на автотранспорте автохозяйства. Проведение проверки работы всех служб и подразделений в части, касающейся обеспечения безопасности движения и предупреждения дорожно-транспортных происшествий. Изучение условий работы водителей на рабочих местах, участие во внедрении рациональных режимов труда и отдыха водителей с учётом специфики производства и рекомендаций научно-исследовательских учреждений по организации труда. Контроль выполнения предписаний межведомственного и ведомственного контроля за соблюдением правил по охране труда. Оказание методической помощи в разработке инструкций по безопасности труда водителей, составление программ обучения водителей безопасным методам работы и в проведении практического обучения. Организация изучения Правил дорожного движения и других материалов по обеспечению безопасности движения работниками автохозяйства. Организация обеспечения кабинета по безопасности движения необходимыми методическими материалами и наглядными пособиями, проведение в нем занятий, бесед, лекций, докладов и распространение опыта безаварийной работы водителей, бригад, колонн (отрядов) и организаций. Участие в работе действующих в Госавтоинспекции комиссий по рассмотрению административных материалов о нарушениях, допущенных водителями организации. Участие в аттестации по безопасности движения работников подразделений; в составлении раздела коллективного договора, касающегося вопросов улучшения условий труда; в работе аттестационных комиссий по присвоению водительских квалификаций. Проверка качества работы контрольных пунктов (постов) при выпуске автомобилей на линию и их возврате в гараж. Взаимодействие с территориальными органами ГИБДД и УГАДН по вопросам, связанным с обеспечением безопасности дорожного движения. Учёт и отчётность по безопасности движения
