Выявлять граждан пожилого возраста и инвалидов, нуждающихся в социально-медицинской помощи. Оказывать социально-медицинские услуги гражданам пожилого возраста и инвалидам, нуждающимся в специализированной социально-медицинской помощи. Максимально продлевать пребывание граждан пожилого возраста и инвалидов в привычной социальной среде в целях поддержания их социального статуса. Содействовать активизации потенциала собственных возможностей обслуживаемых граждан, расширению масштабов самопомощи и взаимопомощи. Наблюдать за состоянием здоровья обслуживаемых граждан и проводить мероприятия, направленные на профилактику обострений у них хронических заболеваний. Оказывать морально-психологическую поддержку обслуживаемым гражданам и членам их семей. Обучать родственников обслуживаемых граждан практическим навыкам ухода за больным. Оказывать экстренную доврачебную помощь: вызов врача или бригады Скорой помощи, определение предварительного диагноза, правильный выбор лекарств и порядок их приёма до прибытия вызванного врача. Осуществлять подбор комплекса физических упражнений с учётом состояния здоровья подопечных. Организовывать прогулки на свежем воздухе с целью поддержания активного образа жизни. Проводить беседы по вопросам возрастной адаптации, оказывать помощь в правильном понимании и решении конкретных социально-медицинских проблем (в пределах компетенции). Осуществлять помощь в оформления медицинских карт подопечных. Проводить медицинские процедуры (измерять температуру тела, артериальное давление, осуществлять перевязки и наложение компрессов, обрабатывать пролежни, раневые поверхности). Оказывать санитарно-гигиеническую помощь обслуживаемым гражданам (обтирание, обмывание, гигиенические ванны, стрижка ногтей, причесывание).

Среднее профессиональное образование - программы подготовки специалистов среднего звена по специальности "Сестринское дело" Сертификат специалиста или свидетельство об аккредитацииспециалиста по специальности "Сестринское дело"
